Our medical & heath programs include gifts of medical supplies to area hospitals, fumigation of schools and other public places where mosquitoes create a greater risk for malaria.
MEDICAL & HEALTH OBJECTIVES
1. To carry out programs of primary health especially in preventive medicine.Malaria Prevention:
- Fumigation of hospitals, schools, communities and other identifiable institutions
- Provision of treated mosquito nets to children and pregnant women.
2. Supply of essential medical equipment and drugs to health facilities in less privileged areas
3. Health educational programs to educate rural communities on hygiene
4. Advocacy on discriminative practices (i.e. girl-child circumcision)
GOALS FOR 2010
1. Fumigation of 100 senior secondary schools in Ghana
2. Fumigation of 20 orphanages in Ghana
3. Provision of 10,000 treated mosquito nets to students in some senior
secondary schools in Ghana |
